1. You know your Haitian when everyone asks you about Voodoo or if you do it.
2. You know your Haitian when you stare, or when somebody speaks Creole you glance or look at the people speaking it.
3. You know your Haitian when everyone says the famous line "Sak pase" and the famous curse word "Guete maman an"
4. You know your Mexican when your mom, dad, and children are the same height.
5. You know your Mexican when family from Mexico brings you floral knit dresses.

These are all examples of experiences in my and my families lives.
