you know you are greek when...
you know you are greek when....
someone in your family owns a restaurant..
you know you are greek when....
your grandmother has a cure for everything haha
you know you are greek when..
you are constantly asked about "MY BIG FAT GREEK WEDDING"
you know you are greek when..
your mechanic, plumber, accountant, etc are all related to you
you know you are greek when..
people ask you about why "we" break plates at weddings
most of the first generations of greeks that came to the united states opened up restaurants, therefore the first statement could be true.. or close to it.. i dont know about everyone else but my grandmother always has somekind of cure for everything..whether it be for burns or a cold lol.. im sorry but MY BIG FAT GREEK WEDDING is completely and totally an exaggeration! we are not that illmanered, ignorant, or that crazy! yes it is true that our mechanics, our plumbers, our accountants, and doctors are somehow related or atleast from the same town lol the breaking of the plates i have def witnessed and not just for weddings either!

SHOCKING ADS
http://www.newsweek.com/id/114629
AD 1 OF 5..
THIS AD IS TO STOP STATUTORY RAPE. I FOUND THIS AD SHOCKING THE MODEL IS JUST A CHILD WITH BIG BREASTS. ITS NOT SOMETHING YOU SEE EVERYDAY THATS FOR SURE LOL.. BUT I DO BELIEVE THAT THEY ARE SENDING THE MESSAGE OUT LOUD AND CLEAR.!!LIKE IT WAS STATED IN THE CAPTION ON THE LEFT LOOKING AT THIS IMAGE SHOULD MAKE THE VIEWER FEEL VERY UNCOMFORTABLE AND THAT IS THE PURPOSE. ITS TO OPEN THEIR EYES TO ETHICS AND MORALS. AND TO REALIZE THAT CHILDREN ARE CHILDREN NOT SEXUAL TOYS.. AND SHOULD NOT IN ANY SHAPE AND FORM BE LOOKED AT IN ANY OTHER WAY.
